First Day

Here we go into the big new adventure of blogging. A little daunting but fun and exciting way to share information in this new tecnological age. I can see this as a very helpful way to get students talking about topics of discussion relevant to class. The nice thing is shy and quiet kids won't have to fight for the floor, and they will have an stage to work on so to speak.

    This is an advantageous site for someone like me that wears so many different hats from leading to teaching a variety of students be they knee high or post secondary. I have so many spots I access the internet. With the access to internet I no longer need the use of one computer to bookmark all spots. This has got to be a huge benefit to teachers who want students to explore on thier own, but would like to put a gentle hand on thier shoulder and aid them in navigating the www by selecting sites they have approved and ones that are leading students along the appropriate path.
